Coming back to life + garden update

Well it has been one busy week. Well, actually a passel of busy weeks, recently. BUT at long last the Building Blitz has occured and now it's time to get back to life. Which means the usual insanity of working on ten different projects simultaneously. Oh, and we have to get ready for a reconciliation retreat in 5 weeks. I really need a vacation, y'know? I'm working on that... I'll at least get 5 days off at the beginning of May, and if I get lucky I might get as much as 2 weeks off. We shall see. There's also a possible trip to TX at the end of this month, but that remains to be discussed, too. That's a lot of traveling in such a short time, especially if one's garden is to do well. So I've got some decisions to make...
Meanwhile my tomatoes are doing frabulously, and the peppers aren't doing so bad themselves.  I finally have everything in their bigger pots, but had to re-plant some. My jalepenos are NOT cooperating and somebody squished one of my tomatoes :(  Nobody is fessing up either. They probably fear the wrath, right? Apparently not enough...
At any rate, for the most part, my tomatoes are doing quite fabulously, as you can see in the photo. The ones closest to the light are rather large and quite ready to be planted. Of course, we've not yet reached our frost date so I have to wait about 2 weeks before I can plant. But in the meantime I am going to take advantage of the beautiful spring weather to start making my tomato "cages" so they will be ready by the time I get around to officially planting. Then it'll take me about a week to get them all planted (I'm being optimistic) so pray the weather cooperates! I wanna be able to travel, y'know!
