One week and one day out from the Teen Harvest Weekend Building Blitz! I still have a few menu items to make, which will hopefully be done by this Friday, then I have to make up KP instructions (note to self FFR: make up instructions as you go... then it's not such a big production). I also have to finish and post job descriptions (which should've been up a couple weeks ago ), make up a sign-in sheet, and make up a job sign-in sheet so I know who is working where and where help is needed. I love organization, but sometimes it can be a lot of work to get to that point. Though it's worth it because it simplifies things.
Anyway, I keep thinking maybe there's things I'm forgetting... but hopefully not! This has certainly been an experience, organizing such a big, long, intensive event. It's definitely a lot different from organizing social events. This definitely requires more structure and organization. It's been a learning experience and a stretch of my leadership skillz (or lack thereof :P ). On the one hand I can't wait for this all to be over, but I'm kinda enjoying the anticipation of what's going to happen. At any rate, I'd better get back to work and stop procrastinating, because there's much to be done! Crunch crunch!
