Yaaayness! It's finally here! The first day of spring! I'm slightly ecstatic, to say the least. The day is forecasted to be about as close to perfect as possible without exploding the world... I've got my window open for my seedlings to enjoy some fresh air, and even though the signs of spring have been creeping up for some weeks now, it all seems much brighter and cheerier today. The peach blossoms just started emerging and most all the trees are budding. I just love this time of year!
I'm getting ready to go out and see if my peas have sprouted *yet* :-/ They always seem to take forever! Gardening will learn ya patience, that's for sure ;)
**UPDATE** I have peas! All four rows are sprouting happily :) Some of the lettuce is poking out too. No spinach yet though :-/

I found some carrot sprouts from last year's carrots that never sprouted :P Mom didn't like the variety I had planted, so we never dug them up ^_^
