Now, lest you do not yet realize this, allow me to inform you: Not all chocolate chip cookies are created equal. You already knew that, right? What you perhaps do not know is how many variations of even the most basic chocolate chip cookie there are! Too many to enumerate. But In the paragraphs hereafter I shall share with you one of my personal favorites.
I boogersnatched this recipe from my dear sweet little adopted sister in Ohio. I call them Mich's Fabulous Choco Chip Cookies. :) This is the cookie I make if I want a beeeeeautiful, soft, yuuuummmmy cookie with just enough peanut butter flavor to send you to the moon. These are highly addicting too, BTW. Be ye warned.

Ingredients:
- 1 cup brown sugar- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 1 t. vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups unbleached white flour
- 1 t. baking powder
- 1 1/2 t. baking soda
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 *F. Combine the brown sugar, peanut butter and
butter in the bowl of your mixer. Beat until fluffy - about 3-4 minutes. Beat
in egg and vanilla until fluffy - about two minutes.
Dump in the dry ingredients (all but the chocolate chips) and mixbutter in the bowl of your mixer. Beat until fluffy - about 3-4 minutes. Beat
in egg and vanilla until fluffy - about two minutes.
until combined and smooth. Add chocolate chips. Mix until well distributed.
Form into balls (1" scoop) and place on parchment paper about
2 inches apart.
Bake at 325 *F for 9 minutes or until golden brown
Consume, enjoy, repeat.
