my bustling garden table with 200-some jiffy pots -->
In spite of all the *ahem* distractions, the short time-span (about 2 hrs), and the extra work of having to prepare my own pots out of old yogurt/sour cream/juice containers and mix two different types of potting soil, I managed to get about a dozen tomatoes graduated. Not too bad! I was a little concerned (for the tomatoes' sakes) about it only being 50 and a little windy, but the sun showed up and made things better.
Now about the time I get this finished, the peppers will probably be ready to graduate. That's just my luck! I'm also having to balance all this gardening with building blitz crunch-time and food prep, so that makes life interesting for sure. I'm probably going to have a pretty packed pair of weeks coming up, then maybe after the building blitz I will have a moment or two to breathe? One can hope! Life sure is crazy-busy, but I kinda like it that way I guess. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if I had nothing to do!
In other news, I am officially a successful guinea pig! Yessiree, pictured above is a little sproutlet of Passiflora Mollissima: Banana Passionfruit. It seems that my good friend and fellow garden-lover Josh thinks of me as a gardening guinea pig, and wanted to see if I could grow this. Well, it's not the first time I've been associated with rodenthood, and I don't much mind since he helps feed my ever-growing exotic seed fettish ^_^ mwahaaha! And I was, in fact successful. (Where's my prize?!) Of course, after the fact I find out I did it the hard way. Ok, I should really get a prize for that, dontchya think? Oh well. Maybe it's a prize in itself. :) Only thing is, now I'm not quite sure what to do with the little squirt. Apparently it's hardy in zone 9-10 but I'm in zone 6. Yay. ...And I still don't have a green house :( So I'm exploring my options.... It sure smells good though! Now I just gotta figure out what to name him... :)

I'm excited to see how your Banana Passionfruit does! I planted the rhubarb you sent me today. I also planted some watermelon... I'm gonna see if I can make use of our "swamp" area to grow them. :B *crosses fingers against an epic fail*
Good luck fellow gardener!
aww yay! :D ha ha I'm sure you'll do great! I'm rootin' for ya :D
That's exactly how MY own little stinkers "help" me write. :P
Love the blog, but can't find the time to start a garden, myself. But until then, I guess I'll have to read about everyone else's. :P Congrats.
Thanks Sam. Glad you enjoy it :)
